January – February in review

Before I inform you on what’s coming up next for me, I thought it best to first let you know what’s been happening since the 1st of this year.

It has been a hectic time academically for me as I have had to hand in my research paper. The work is not over yet. I still have to present and defend my research next month so I’m working towards that. I’ve been also preparing for upcoming gigs but more on that in my next post.

I have also been accepted as a staff member of a music school here in Den Haag. I’m very excited to eventually start giving voice lessons there. The school is called Grace Music and you can find more information here.

And last but not least, I have been selected once more to be in the semi finals of the Leiden Jazz Award. There are many prizes to be, the most coveted being the final prize of course. However there is also a public prize. The general public vote on the songs of the contestants and whoever has the most votes, wins. Voting begins from the 10th of March, so as the time comes I will provide a link as to where to go and vote. Of course I hope your vote will go to me ;).

So that’s it for now. I will come back to you soon with a “coming up next” post.

‘Till then
